GTA RP has become very popular recently because Twitch and YouTube streamers have picked it up and made videos about it. As GTA RP becomes more popular, more and more players want to join.
Most GTA players want to join the whitelisted NoPixel server because it is thought to be one of the best places to roleplay in GTA. Small players, on the other hand, have a hard time doing this unless they are willing to make a donation and wait to be invited to join. So, they have to use the version of NoPixel that anyone can access.
A simpler option is the NoPixel Public RP server. This server is great for beginners who can’t join the NoPixel whitelisted server and don’t care much about broadcasting to a Twitch audience because anyone can join.
This guide shows you how to join NoPixel’s public RP server step by step.
How to Join NoPixel’s Public GTA RP Server
Joining NoPixel’s public GTA RP server is an easy process, especially if you already own the desktop version of the game. Here are the steps to follow:
- Download GTA V for PC
- Download FiveM Mod
- Create a NoPixel Account
- Join the Public Server
- Queue Up
- Start Playing
1. Download GTA V for PC
First of all, you need to download and install a legal copy of GTA V on your computer. You can buy GTA V on both Steam and the Epic Games store.
If you already have the game installed on your computer, you can easily skip this step and move on to the second step.
2. Download FiveM Mod
FiveM is a mod that you need to download so that the GTA RP servers can be used. The mod allows you to join servers made by other players. This mod is also needed for NoPixel to work.
Since you can’t do this on a console, you can only play on the NoPixel public RP server on a PC.
3. Create a NoPixel Account
You need to go to NoPixel’s website and click on the “Register now” link to make an account.
The sign-up process is pretty easy. You will have to put in your username, your Steam or Epic Games ID, and your date of birth. Additionally, you can add YouTube or Twitch channels.
After signing up, you will have to connect your Discord account to the server’s website.
4. Join the Public Server
Once you have completed the registration process you will have an option to join NoPixel’s public server on the right side of the dashboard, as well as an option to join the whitelisted server.
You will have to wait a long time before you can play. This is because a lot of people are trying to play at the same time. The server is always open, so there’s nothing that can be done.
5. Queue Up
If you want to skip the line, you can pay a monthly fee to grant priority. Here are the different tiers and prices:
- Tier 1 — $30
- Tier 2 — $100
- Tier 3 — $250
- Tier 4 — $500
- Tier 5 — $1,000
6. Start Playing
You can start playing as soon as your waiting time in the queue is over. Make sure to follow all of the server rules and don’t stream snipe or do anything else similar, because you can get reported or banned. Enjoy!
What is The NoPixel Public GTA RP Server
The NoPixel public server was made as an alternative server after their whitelisted RP server became more popular. The NoPixel server has been around for a few years, but the whitelisted server where most streamers play is called NoPixel 3.0.
The public GTA RP server lets anyone join, which has its pros and cons. The obvious advantage is that it lets new people play who couldn’t join the whitelisted server. There may be a lot of people who just enjoy roleplaying and don’t have a Twitch audience to broadcast to.
The disadvantage is easy to see. Since anyone can join, there are people who come just to stream snipe or do something stupid. Thankfully, it’s easy to report these players in-game and get them banned.
Who Plays on The NoPixel GTA RP Public Server?
Most likely, XQC is the most well-known player on the server. Most of the time, he has well over 1,00,000 viewers, and since he can’t play on the whitelisted server, he’s kind of made the public server his own. But a lot of streamers who play on the whitelisted server have at some point or another joined the public server.
Sykkuno has joined to make his character Yuno a cop. Buddha also made Mr. Lang a police officer on the public server. Ramee, RatedEpicz, Burn, and a lot of other players have also played the public server at some point.
