Far Cry 6 is Free to Play This Weekend

The shooter Far Cry 6 is free-to-play on PC and consoles starting tomorrow.

Ubisoft has announced that the game will be available tomorrow night for free on PC (via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect), PS5, PS4, and Xbox consoles. The complete game will remain free-to-play until Sunday.

Progression made can then be carried over to a purchased version of the game. The game can also be bought this weekend with up to a 60% discount. In addition, the free version also includes all released single-player expansions based on Rambo, Stranger Things, and actor Danny Trejo.

Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter game with cutting-edge graphics that mixes action and adventure. Players will take on the role of a Yaran named Dani Rojas and try to beat the guerillas who are turning the county into a civil war. The main goal of the main character is to save his people from a cruel dictatorship, no matter what. Along with a wide range of weapons, the many vehicles and backpacks add to the fun of battle. Far Cry 6 also has a co-op mode for up to two players so that players can follow the story with their friends.

Since its release in September 2021, this is not the first time Far Cry 6 has been free-to-play for a limited time. From March 24 to 27, the game was free for another weekend, so people could try it out without buying it. Lastly, Ubisoft said that players can buy Far Cry 6 with a 60% discount if they want to keep it in their library permanently.
