Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Removes Building After 24 Hours

Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise, has removed the Building 21 area from its DMZ mode only 24 hours after it was released. This move has come as a surprise to many players, who were expecting it to remain a part of the game for longer.

The Building 21 area was added as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update on December 8, 2021, and was set to be available until December 27, 2022. However, after just 24 hours it was removed by Activision. The company claims that the removal was always part of the plan and it was not due to any bugs or glitches.

It is believed that the removal may have been due to the upcoming 2xp weekend, which would have allowed players to level up their weapons faster by farming Weapon XP and Battle Pass XP in Plunder mode. It appears that Activision wanted to prevent players from gaining too much of an advantage with this method.

Building 21 is a secret building that contains a biological laboratory and is located in the DMZ mode of Warzone 2. It is guarded by ruthless forces and holds high-tier contraband weapons. Accessing this POI requires special Keys, which can be collected from AI combatants, containers, or as rewards from completing objectives.

The area is said to contain multiple safes and keycard access-only rooms with the potential of great rewards. Players had expressed their excitement over the mysterious addition but their enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment when it was removed after only 24 hours.
